Parking Permit Application ONLY City of La Mesa (Please note this application below is not for payment of parking citations) PARKING PERMIT PROGRAM: The goal of the Parking Permit Program is to support the Downtown Village business community by providing business owners and employees with affordable, all-day parking in designated areas. Since owner and employee vehicles often park for long periods without moving it is best to situate permit areas away from prime parking areas most sought after by business customers. The City’s approach to managed parking, including providing the Permit Program effectively supports the business community by simultaneously providing parking resources to business owner and employees and preserving turnover parking for their customers. TIER 1 QUARTERLY - Permit Fee: $40/Quarter (Purple) - The fee for replacement of lost or stolen stickers is $25 per sticker. ANNUAL - Permit Fee: $144/Annual (Yellow) - The fee for replacement of lost or stolen stickers is $50 per sticker. 4 Parking Areas: - Allison Ave., from Spring St. to La Mesa Blvd. (on-street) - Allison Avenue Municipal Parking Lot - La Mesa Blvd., from Acacia Ave. to Normal Avenue (on-street) - La Mesa Blvd. Municipal Parking Lot TIER 2 QUARTERLY - Permit Fee: $60/Quarter (Teal) - The fee for replacement of lost or stolen stickers is $25 per sticker. CONDITIONS OF USE: 1. Permits are only valid in designated areas. Please see the following link for a map of areas where the permit purchased will be honored as valid: City of LaMesa Parking Permit Program 2. Permit sticker must be properly displayed at all times. Permit number and sticker must be fully visible on the front windshield, with sticker color, permit number, and sticker facing outward. Failure to display the permit may result in issuance of an expired parking meter citation. Forgotten, lost or misplaced parking permits do not qualify as a reason to dismiss a valid parking citation. 3. If permit not displayed the vehicle has no parking privileges and must pay the parking meter and observe posted time limitations. If permit has been lost or misplaced and is, therefore, unavailable to display please call 888-300-9915 to purchase a replacement (replacement fee will apply). 4. Tampering with or duplicating of a permit sticker is strictly prohibited and will result in a citation or criminal prosecution. 5. Purchase and possession of a permit does not provide exemption from any other parking laws or requirements. 6. Any outstanding parking citations must be paid before a permit will be issued. The City reserves the right to revoke parking permits, without refund, if it is discovered that unpaid parking citations exist. 7. No business or individual purchaser may purchase more than twenty-five (25) permits per calendar quarter. 8. ALL SALES ARE FINAL AND PERMIT COSTS AND FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Multiple permit purchases will only require the vehicle information and mailing address to be entered once below. 2. Click CONTINUE to proceed to the payment page. 3. Once your data has been verified and full payment has been made; you will receive a confirmation email, you will have the ability to print your temporary permit for display until your permanent stciker arrives. Permanent sticker will be mailed to you USPS. 4. Until the above steps are taken, your parking permit application is PENDING and WILL NOT BE FULFILLED until all the necessary requirements are met. 5.
