Important Information on Spring Semester Parking |
Construction for the Student Housing East project is located in Parking Lot 7 and will temporarily displace 800 parking spaces during the Spring 2019 semester. The new Parking Structure is scheduled to open in fall 2019. Parking on campus will be challenging next semester. We strongly encourage you to consider other transportation alternatives for the spring semester. |

Cal State LA Resident Parking Permits are only valid for overnight in lot 7A and Hellman Ave .Permits not valid in student lots.For specific lots visit our parking regulations page . |

Resident permits may only be purchased by Cal State LA Housing Permits. |

First-time freshmen are prohibited from purchasing a Resident Permit. |

Freshmen can apply for an exception to this policy if they demonstrate compelling need or suffer undue by not bringing a vechicle for the purpose of living on Campus.Exception requests require appropriate justification for approval.Such requests must be approved prior to purchasing a Resident Permit |

Park only in marked spaces, permit must be displayed and visible on the rearview mirror or placed face up on the driver’s side dash. Parking is enforced 24/7 year round. Vehicles with an invalid or improperly displayed permit are subject to citation. |

Permits are valid through expiration date shown on the permit . |

Stolen Permits should be reported at Public Safety located in lot 1 |

Vehicles with valid disabled placards may park in disabled stalls and must display a both a valid Cal State LA parking permit and disabled placecard assigned to driver or eligible passenger |
